Frequently Asked Questions
Clear answers about solo mining, wallet usage, fees, worker names, pool status and BlockStrike operating standards.
What is solo mining?+
Solo mining means your worker is competing to find a full block. If your worker submits the winning block, the reward is credited according to the pool's direct-wallet payout design and fee policy.
What is the BlockStrike fee?+
BlockStrike uses a flat 1.5% fee on every supported coin. There are no different fee tiers by coin.
Do I need an account?+
No account is required for mining. Your wallet address and worker name identify your miner statistics.
How should I format my worker name?+
Use YOUR_WALLET_ADDRESS.WORKER_NAME unless a specific coin page states otherwise.
Can I mine directly to an exchange?+
Use a wallet you control unless the exchange explicitly confirms it supports direct mining rewards and the required transaction format.
How are blocks verified?+
BlockStrike will verify submitted blocks against the corresponding network node before publishing block height, finder, reward and confirmation status.
Why are some pools marked Research or Development?+
Research means the network is being evaluated. Development means node, wallet, Stratum or statistics integration is actively being built. Do not connect miners until a pool is marked Active.
How does coin voting work?+
Votes show general interest. Miner pledges indicate expected launch demand. Voting influences priority but does not override technical, security or infrastructure review.
Will BlockStrike remove low-volume coins?+
BlockStrike will not remove a coin without notice. Any retirement decision will be published with the operational or security reason.
Will support ever ask for my seed phrase?+
No. BlockStrike staff will never ask for your seed phrase, private keys, passwords or remote access to your mining devices.
